Doelgroep

This course is designed for system administrators and IT professionals who need to gain specific knowledge about directory services.

Korte inhoud

This four-day course focuses on both Mac OS X as a directory service client, and Mac OS X Server as a directory server. Cross platform solutions are emphasized in both instances.
Demonstrate your knowledge by passing the Mac OS X Directory Services 10.6 exam. Apple Certified System Administrator (ACSA) 10.6 certification is granted upon successful completion of the Mac OS X Directory Services 10.6, Mac OS X Deployment 10.6, and Mac OS X Security and Mobility 10.6 exams.
The Mac OS X Directory Services 10.6 exam also counts as an elective towards Apple Certified Media Administrator certification.

Voorkennis

  • Basic troubleshooting experience or Snow 101 - Mac OS X Support Essentials 10.6
  • Basic Mac OS X Server experience or Snow 201 - Mac OS X Server Essentials 10.6
  • Understanding of basic IP networking, including IP address, subnet masks, ports, and protocols
  • Experience using the command-line interface with Mac OS X
  • Good understanding of the English language, because software and lesson material are in English
