Projects outside Western Europe are long term training projects which are executed with funding from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Media Academie also organises international projects in coöperation with European partners and funded by the EU.
Partners involved: BBC, YLE Finland, Universidada Lusofona/ TV CABO Portugal, Deutsche Hörfunkakademie and SONY.
